With Easter fast approaching, many rental villas and apartments have been booked.

Official public holiday days are Friday 6th April, Sunday 8th April and Monday 9th April 2007. During these days are Government offices, along with banks and many other businesses will be closed.

Easter is a big occasion in Cyprus, with many Cypriots observing the 40 days fasting period and attending church for communion from Good Friday through to Easter Sunday.

With the extended holiday period, Cypriots take a long holiday at the coastal resorts. The leaves holiday rental accommodation at a premium.
