In the last ten years Paphos property has been booming. There are numerous developments which are now complete or in the process of being built.

In the area of 'Universal' there must be over 300 new villas and apartments being built.

In the past last couple of years so many Cypriot have been selling their inherited land to developers and this property boom has occurred.

If you are in the market to buy a villa or apartment in Paphos, then don't rush into it. There are so many new empty properties around that you can really haggle and find yourself a bargain. A bargain being relative though since property prices have risen over 300% in the past six years I've been living here.

A villa in Kato Paphos which in 2001 sold for £50000 was sold last week for £170000.

It's a buyers market.
