Self catering holidays in Cyprus are becoming ever more popular. Cyprus has a wide choice of taverns, restaurants and cafés; along with many supermarkets.

In the past many Cyprus tourists came on package holidays. In the last few years this has changed considerably.

Families find the convenience of self-catering the way to holiday. They can choose what and when to eat, instead of being told to by the tour companies and hotels.

Cyprus has some fine restaurants available, but as with all holiday spots, the best place are not on the tourist trail. As the locals for their advice, they know the areas better than most.

I have found tourists like to ask their rep. Thats fine, but what does an 18 year old know about an area, when he has only been there 4 weeks and has been drunk for the majority of it.
