The climate in the last few weeks has changed considerably. It's been getting hotter and hotter, but with a scattering of rain.

With daylight saving ending at the end of the month we can all look forward to a fruitful summer in the sun.

The downside to this though, is that we have had little rain in the winter months and water shortages are already a problem.

Hosepipe bans have been in place since February, and pools with private wells are not to be filled via the mains.

Holidaymakers may have to make do with the sea :-)
